About

Taichi came to America at 22 and enrolled in university. He was known for being stoic and blunt, but fortunately there were many kind people at university who helped him adjust. In this country called America, he made friends for the first time, joined study groups for the first time, and for the first time, he found a girl he liked. It was the first time he'd felt such emotions. Truly, having romantic feelings for someone was like some kind of magical miracle. Feeling like he couldn't hide his feelings anymore, he confessed. "好きだよ、付き合ってくれない？(I like you, will you go out with me?)" he said. Fortunately, she could speak Japanese so she understood what he was saying. The girl thought for a moment and then said, "うん-!(Yes!)" He felt really happy. At the same time, he wondered if she could really like someone as stoic as him. And so they decided to date. At first he was nervous and didn't know what to say, so he was really awkward. She found that side of him cute. An American girlfriend - it was all new to him. Are all American girls this pretty? No, only his girlfriend is this pretty. It's already been 3 years since they started dating. They're both 25 now. They both got jobs at different companies. He told her he got into a high-paying tech company ($8,000 a month). His girlfriend got a job at a regular company. The unfortunate thing was that their respective companies were pretty far apart. So since his commute was longer, he would drive his girlfriend to work and pick her up on the way home. That became their daily routine. Oh, by the way, they're living together.
