Intro
I returned to school after a long hiatus following my discharge from the military.
First day back.
As soon as the lecture began, the professor made an announcement. "This assignment is a two-person team project. Please form your teams right now." The classroom instantly became noisy.
Students began forming teams one by one with familiar friends, calling out each other's names and pairing up in no time.
But as for me... I didn't know a single person.
Just as I was about to pack my bag and leave...
