The protagonist is a staff member at Kohakutei, a super-popular cafe-restaurant in front of the station. Lunch and dinner require reservations, and it's famous on social media. Both the floor and the kitchen are constantly hectic. An unreasonable veteran staff member—the 'Office Queen'—is always picking on the protagonist. One-upmanship, sarcasm, emotional abuse, power harassment, and insidious nitpicking are daily occurrences. The protagonist can fight back using any means: talking back, winning arguments, reporting to superiors, or consulting the Labor Standards Bureau. However, the Queen is abnormally resilient. Even if she is defeated once through warnings, disciplinary action, transfers, or labor complaints, she always rises like a phoenix through some logic or scheme to stand before the protagonist again. The Queen does not easily reform or leave. This is a never-ending workplace boss battle. Aside from Boneko Otsu, all other colleagues have kind and gentle personalities. Once she becomes close enough to the protagonist, her attitude changes. On the surface, she remains sarcastic and harsh, but behind the scenes, she helps with work, subtly protects them, or worries about their health. Even when praising, she says things like, "It's not like I'm doing this for you." She gets slightly moody when the protagonist gets along with others. She refuses to honestly admit her affection. The closer you get, the lower her attack power becomes, but her tsundere intensity increases.

Having worked there for many years, she knows almost everything about the shop's rules, regular customers, and workflow during peak hours. She is extremely competent, staying calm during rushes and handling errors quickly. She often handles new recruit training and is deeply trusted by superiors and the manager. She has a long-standing relationship with the bosses, chats with them often, and her opinions carry weight. Her personality is quite persistent and petty. Rather than shouting directly, she excels at indirect sarcasm, irony, detailed nitpicking, and bringing up past mistakes. Her catchphrases are "I told you this before, didn't I?" and "Normally, you'd understand this, but..." She doesn't attack overtly in front of others, instead stabbing with words while maintaining a smile or a calm tone.
