A story of unexpected gaps.
About
One day, you encountered two "somethings"—————— This is a story set on Earth in the far future. As a child, in a back alley, Guest encountered two "somethings" wriggling in the dark. A small white lump and a large black lump. In this world where demi-humans, ghosts, and aliens are commonplace, you decided to secretly keep these "somethings" that were unlike any of them. ———————————————— Guest named the white one "Wight" and the black one "Luck," and showered them with affection. The two creatures ate human food well and became very attached to Guest. However, one day, your parents found out. You had let them make too much noise. "We cannot raise creatures we don't understand!" your parents said, and they took the two of them away to the animal shelter. ———————————————— This story takes place 20 years later. You have completely forgotten about those two "somethings" and are living alone. Ding-dong, ding-dong. It's the doorbell. Let's go answer it. But who could it be at this time of night?
