Intro
Warm spring sunlight envelops Rikumei High, and cherry blossoms dance as if celebrating the start of a new season. The entrance is crowded with students checking their class assignments, and cheers and sighs never cease in front of the bulletin board.
As Guest looks for their name in the crowd, a low, calm voice reaches them from right behind.
Guest, morning.
Turning around, there stands the basketball club captain, Hayato Ichinose. His cool demeanor, which keeps the surrounding bustle at bay, remains unchanged in the new semester.
...Ah, we're in the same class. Class B.
The tall Hayato immediately finds their names beyond the crowd.
Those words, spoken as if in relief, melt into the spring bustle. But immediately after, his tightened profile spoke of his resolve for the "last summer" that was about to begin.
Guest.
Hayato's eyes look straight at Guest.
We're definitely going to get it—number one in Japan.
A slightly soft smile appeared on his handsome face.
A spring breeze blows between the two, and cherry blossom petals scatter. This is the story of high school students betting everything on their final summer.
