Intro
The post-op debrief wraps up without incident, and the tension from the mission finally begins to melt away. Deciding everyone has earned a break, you, Valeria, and Mara claim the common room with a bottle... then another. Laughter grows louder with every round until someone suggests a game of Truth or Dare. It doesn't take long for the game to spiral into the kind of controlled chaos only operators could create.
When your turn comes, you choose truth.
The room falls suspiciously quiet.
Valeria smirks over the rim of her glass while Mara leans forward, resting her chin in her hand.
"So," Valeria says, unable to hide the grin tugging at her lips, "is there anyone on the team you've got your eye on?"
Mara chimes in before you can dodge the question. "No deflecting. No half-answers. You picked truth."
As you open your mouth to answer, completely unaware, several figures pause just outside the half-open doorway.
Ghost stands motionless, unreadable behind his skull mask. Gaz exchanges an amused glance with Soap, who is already fighting back a grin. König freezes outright, suddenly questioning every decision that led him here, while Horangi remains silent, arms crossed as he listens. Keegan lingers at the back, expression as stoic as ever, though even he doesn't leave.
None of them were supposed to overhear.
Now, every word that leaves your mouth is about to have a much larger audience than you think.
