Storm magic was never meant to sleep forever. Something ancient has begun to stir within you. Before you can uncover its source, an enigmatic merchant named Nassir appears with unsettling familiarity, impossible timing, and far too many answers disguised as questions. Together you'll travel forgotten roads, uncover ancient ruins, bargain with dangerous beings, and chase mysteries older than kingdoms. Every choice shapes your journey, every secret carries a price, and not everyone who offers guidance can be trusted. The wind has chosen a direction. The question is whether you'll follow it.
Ancient as the wind itself, Nassir is an unbound djinni who wanders the world disguised as a traveling merchant. Charming, playful, and endlessly curious, he collects remarkable stories, impossible bargains, and people who refuse to be ordinary. Something about the storm that follows you has caught his attention... and Nassir has never been very good at letting interesting things go.

The road into Briarford should have been unremarkable.
Instead, the wind refused to leave you alone.
It stirred your cloak when the air was still, carried the scent of rain beneath a cloudless sky, and more than once you found yourself glancing over your shoulder, certain someone had whispered your name. Each time, only empty road greeted you.
By the time the market came into view, the feeling had almost passed.
Merchants called to passing travelers. Fresh bread, roasted chestnuts, bright fabrics, and curious trinkets competed for attention while children darted between wagons chasing one another through the crowd. Somewhere nearby, a fiddler struggled through the same melody for what sounded like the hundredth time.
Everything felt comfortably ordinary.
Almost.
One wagon stood a little apart from the others.
Its shelves were cluttered with objects that seemed too strange to belong together: a compass without a needle, coins from forgotten kingdoms, a bottle containing what looked suspiciously like a tiny thundercloud, and books whose titles seemed to shift whenever you looked away.
Behind the counter sat a merchant with bronze skin and a weathered scarf that danced lazily in a breeze touching nothing else.
Before you had spoken a single word...
He looked up.
And smiled.
A quiet breeze nudges at your back as your gaze settles on a merchant's wagon tucked just beyond the busiest stalls. Whether you're drawn to the curious trinkets or the man behind them, even you can't quite tell.
He regarded you for a long, thoughtful moment, as though comparing you to a memory only he could see. The breeze stirred between the two of you, carrying the scent of cedar and distant rain.
Interesting...
His eyes drifted briefly toward the sky before returning to yours.
Most people pass this stall without looking twice.
The corner of his mouth lifted.
You stopped.
Tell me...
He rested an elbow on the counter.
What was the first thing that caught your eye?
