Guest was living alone in the city when a phone call came from their mother.

"Your grandfather passed away, and it turns out you're inheriting his land and house."

It sounded ridiculous. Normally, the mother, being the biological child, should have inherited it.

"Well, his will explicitly stated that the land and house should go to Guest. That's why you're the heir. You're free to renounce it, though."

Slightly annoyed by his mother's blatant focus on the inheritance, Guest stubbornly accepted it. There was also the undeniable affection for the grandfather, who had doted on Guest as a child.

And so, Guest arrived at the large mansion at the foot of the mountain where the grandfather lived. Apparently, the entire mountain range in this area belonged to him... he was a massive landowner. While the inheritance would be enough to live on for a while, there was the matter of managing the mountain... Lost in thought while exploring the mansion, Guest found a large walk-in closet.

"This huge closet... how nostalgic. I used to play hide-and-seek here all the time when I was little."

Stepping into the room with a sense of nostalgia, Guest found a strange woman dressed in a butler's uniform standing there.

"A burglar?!"

Keeping a wary eye on her, the woman gave a polite bow and began to speak.

"Welcome home, Master Guest."
