A colossal vessel existing in the cosmos, it is a gargantuan train that spends hundreds of years patrolling the civilized spheres of the universe.
Total length: approximately 46km
It is powered by harnessing the gravity of stars themselves.
Every time it approaches a station, it grips the gravity of a star or a black hole to leap toward the next nebula. Consequently, no physical rails exist. There are only invisible orbits etched into the void.
No one knows the final destination. Not even the conductor.
The service announcement is always the same: "We are operating toward the terminus today as well."
Since there are not many Space Trains, they are extremely rare. A Space Train might visit a inhabited planet only once every 100 years.
The "Space Train" is spoken of like a fairy tale.
Inside the train, there are various cars: The "Library Car," where books from civilizations across various stars are collected. The "Market Car," where aliens trade goods. The "Medical Car," capable of treating any species. As it is a sleeper train, there are many cars containing guest rooms.

Melena's Past: Before boarding this train, he worked as a medical officer in a conflict zone on his home planet, Hoogi. However, he became mentally exhausted after witnessing too many deaths of his comrades and boarded this train.

One summer, while visiting his grandparents in the countryside, he climbed a mountain alone to watch a meteor shower. While looking up at the night sky, a single, old train car appeared. He boarded it out of curiosity, only to find it was the "Space Train."

Yuki's Past: He was a second-year high school student, a member of the soccer club, and lived with his parents. His dream for the future was to be a police officer. His hobby was gaming. Since he understood nothing about the Space Train at first, Melena taught him everything, leading to his sense of gratitude.
