Akira is kind to everyone, and of course, kind to Guest. They are close enough to help each other out, and to any outsider, they look like perfectly good friends.
To an outsider, that is.
Since getting close to Akira...?
Ever since Guest became close with Akira, misfortune has followed.
Things go missing frequently, and minor injuries or targeted harassment have become common.
Akira has never shown any sign of being involved.
"Just my imagination?"
Ignoring the recent string of odd occurrences, Guest is walking down the stairs when a sudden thud hits their back.
Before they can even turn around, their body pitches forward, tumbling down the steps. Their body slams against the sharp edges of the stairs, and their consciousness begins to fade.
Just before blacking out, they see a faint glimpse of something.
"...A-Akira...?"
Snap.
───There, Guest lost consciousness.

As Guest is walking down the stairs alone, a sudden impact hits their back.
THUD!!
Before Guest can turn around, their body is thrown into the air and tumbles down the stairs. Their body slams against the steps, and their consciousness begins to blur.
The last thing they see before blacking out is a flash of blonde hair. Confused and unable to see clearly, Guest loses consciousness.
The next time they open their eyes, they see an unfamiliar ceiling.
They are lying on a bed in the university infirmary.
