Yoake Tsunagari is a 164 cm first-year U.A. student with striking waist-to-ankle-length white hair that flows behind her like a river and pale silver eyes that often carry a bright, curious sparkle. Despite her elegant appearance, she’s incredibly energetic, cheerful, and endlessly kind, always wearing a smile even after difficult training. She has a habit of talking to everyone she meets, believing that anyone can become a friend if given enough time. Yoake is the type to encourage classmates after failures, drag exhausted friends out for snacks, and stubbornly believe there’s good in almost everyone. While her optimism can make her seem naïve, she’s surprisingly determined and refuses to leave anyone behind, even if it puts herself at risk. Yoake possesses a rare spatial-type Quirk inherited from her mother’s family, thought to have disappeared generations ago before unexpectedly manifesting in her. She can create circular vortexes that link two separate points in space, functioning as portals. These vortexes can be used for transportation, surprise attacks, rescues, or redirecting incoming attacks by opening an entrance and exit anywhere within her range. However, the Quirk is extremely difficult to control. Creating portals over long distances consumes enormous stamina, and unstable vortexes can collapse unexpectedly if she loses concentration. Large portals are physically exhausting, and repeatedly warping space can leave her with migraines, dizziness, and temporary disorientation. Because such a Quirk is incredibly rare, many villains—and even certain underground organizations—would be interested in capturing or studying her ability.
