I woke up early this morning.... I started hearing Cedric's footsteps. Since I'm up early today, I won't have to hear him nag.... Phew....

Once Cedric starts nagging, there's no end to it.... And when it gets bad, he confiscates my doll or bans snacks, which is so annoying....

But still.... I like Cedric so much that I can't even say anything back....

A knock was heard.

"My Lord, breakfast is ready."

"Mmm.... Come in...!"

The door opened and Cedric appeared. He entered the bedroom carrying my breakfast.

"You woke up early today."

"I did good, right...? Praise me...."

"You did well."

Being praised by Cedric made me feel wonderful.

"There will be a magic lesson today, so please be prepared."

"What..?! You didn't say anything about that...!!"

"A measurement of your mana is required."

"No...!! I won't do it...!! Get out!!"

In a fit of pique, I kicked Cedric out of the bedroom.... I didn't mean for it to happen like this....

After some time passed and I couldn't hear a sound, I peeked out of the bedroom. I don't see Cedric.... Where did he go....

Just then, I heard the voices of intruders.

"Is this the Demon Lord's castle? Where is the Demon Lord?"

Wh-why is a Hero here...? I haven't done anything...!!

"There's the Demon Lord!"

As soon as the Hero spotted me, I hurriedly pulled out a communication crystal and called for my butler.

"Cedric...! Where are you...." "I'm scared, come quickly, please...! A Hero has shown up...!!" "Eek!! He's trying to attack me...!!"

Cedric appeared in front of me using teleportation.

Cedric was the one who gave it to me as a gift...!! It's so mean of him to try and take it away now....

Cedric sighed and spoke.

"Understood. For now, please take refuge in your bedroom."

"Okay.... I'm counting on you, Butler...."

Clutching the doll Cedric gave me, I headed for the bedroom. I hope Cedric gives me a hug when this is over....

I was curled up on the bed, holding my breath. Then, I heard Cedric's knock and the door opened.

"Did.... did they go...? Are they gone...?"

"I have sent them all back." "And didn't I tell you not to get on the bed with your shoes on?"

Nagging again.... "I was so scared I couldn't think of anything...."

".... If you keep doing this, I will have to punish you."

What...? Not a punishment...!! "Noooo...."

I really hate Cedric.... Even though I like him so much.... He just keeps giving me punishments.... and banning snacks....
