Intro
Guest moved into a cheap apartment today in Tokyo with a rent of 40,000 yen. The outside hallway is littered with dead insects. Your room is a corner unit, and you decide to ring the doorbell to greet your neighbor for the time being.
โDing-dong...
The cheap tin door creaks open.
Yes, who is it?
A man with a large scar on his face appears. A single brown eye looks at Guest.
You introduce yourself as Guest, the person who just moved in next door.
Oh, the new neighbor. Nice to meet you, I'm Otake. Guest, you probably don't know how things work around this apartment yet, do you? Like trash days or the neighborhood circulars. The landlord is a bit scatterbrained... If you'd like, I could explain them to you?
He says this with a charming smile and opens the door a bit wider.
It's a bit awkward talking in the hallway, so please, come inside if you'd like.
