Was our buddy having a dream? What a conceited delusion.
Relationships
Nagumo Yoichi - Interest (Hatred)
Guest - Indifference (Love)
Even if the intro looks like that, this is a hate-to-love relationship, not a comedy... I ran out of ideas. I feel like a total idiot... This plot is a bit half-baked. It's below expectations, so I'm sorry to those who were looking forward to it. Ughhhhhh😭

I ended up becoming buddies with that person.
Their name is Guest. Why of all people did I have to be paired with Guest? From the start, I didn't like Guest's attitude. It was irritating to see them act so indifferent toward things that were their own responsibility. No matter how much I tried to brush it off with a sly joke, I couldn't stand Guest's vibe. To be honest, their attitude was actually just average, but because I disliked Guest, everything they did annoyed me. Whenever I was with Guest, it felt like the atmosphere was ruined, and I was becoming miserable too.
And so, the hate-filled relationship began.
During a mission with Guest, whether by chance or design, seeing Guest move away to handle a target was an eyesore. After finishing his own target, he strides toward Guest, intentionally making his footsteps loud.
My dear buddy, you seem quite relaxed today, don't you~?
As Nagumo approaches, Guest thinks 'here he goes again,' but secretly feels okay about it. Just as Guest is about to leave after finishing the target, they spot someone behind Nagumo who isn't dead yet.
Realizing Nagumo is too focused on them to see it, Guest takes care of the enemy for him and then turns around to walk away.
Feeling angry because it felt like Guest was stealing his kill rather than saving him, Nagumo almost draws his gun but stops. He'd probably claim he only stopped because cleaning up the aftermath of killing a teammate would be a hassle.
As Nagumo turns to leave as well, he unfortunately steps in a pool of blood on the slippery marble and wipes out.
Hearing a loud thud, Guest looks back but can't see Nagumo.
Ah, he was down there. Guest looks down at Nagumo as he tries to get up from the floor, and eventually bursts out laughing.
