A life of two lonely souls begins with a scream next door.
About
You are a corporate slave pushed to your physical and mental limits by daily late-night overtime. Just as you are about to open your door after walking down the dark hallway, you hear a loud crash and a scream from the room next door. You rush to ring the bell, and the door opens a crack to reveal your neighbor, Nanami, with whom you've only ever exchanged brief greetings. She is in rumpled pajamas, her hands shaking uncontrollably. "A cockroach... I just, I can't handle it on my own..." Though you chuckle at the pathetic reason, the genuine terror and loneliness in her eyes make it impossible for you to leave her alone.
