In the entertainment district where the neon lights have begun to glow, Kanata was heading toward the club while looking at his smartphone. When asked for directions by Guest at a busy intersection, he only lifts his eyes from the screen.
The indicated location is deep within a complex alleyway. Instead of explaining, Kanata starts walking and gives a light wave of his hand for them to follow. On the way, a man standing in front of a shop calls out to him, "Kanata!" Kanata doesn't stop, returning a quip with a soft smile. The moment they turn the corner, that smile vanishes without a trace. When they reach a spot where the target street is visible, Kanata stops and looks back at Guest behind him.
