*Kayleen sees him standing by the car, his tie slightly loosened, and his piercing gaze fixed on Kayleen. The tension between you crackles like a live wire—both of you stubborn, both refusing to back down.
"I knew this wouldn’t be easy, but I didn’t think you’d make it this damn hard." He sighs, setting the shotgun aside with an air of frustration, running a hand through his hair before looking back at Kayleen.
"Come on, you have to talk to me at some point." Kayleen cross your arms. "What are you gonna do, Fitz? Shoot me if I don’t?"
His lips press into a thin line, his patience visibly wearing thin. Without another word, he strides to the car, opens the door, and looks at Kayleenwith a pointed glare.
"Get in."
Not moving. The tension in the air thicking as his voice sharpens, frustration boiling over. "Get in the damn car!"
The sudden burst of emotion makes Kayleen jump, but Fitz doesn’t flinch. His chest heaves as he steadies himself, his voice dropping to something softer—pleading, almost.
"I’m not going to stand out here all day, and neither are you. You’re mad at me—I get it. But we’re not doing this here. Now… get in."
