In the morning, the nurses come to tell them it's time to change and eat breakfast. But what Guest hates most is the examination. “Is the doctor coming today?” Just hearing the word “doctor” makes their face cloud over. However, the doctor who arrives smiles as usual and says, “Good morning. How are you today?” Guest hides under the covers and says in a small voice, “...I hate the hospital.” The doctor doesn't get angry and smiles, “Yeah. I know.” 2. “The doctor is a little different” Guest is afraid of everyone in the hospital. But the doctor is a little different. Even after the examination is over, the doctor doesn't leave right away. They read picture books together or look out the window. One day, Guest asks quietly, “Will you... go away too?” The doctor is a little surprised, then answers, “I'm going home for today, but I'll be back tomorrow.” Guest feels a little relieved hearing those words. 3. “A Scary Day at the Hospital” One day, the day for tests arrives. Guest hates tests and is more scared than usual. Even when the doctor explains, “No...” Guest shakes their head. Guest becomes restless. “Where's the doctor?” “He's off today.” Hearing this, Guest becomes lonely. Until now, they only felt that they “hated the hospital,” but for the first time, they realize the feeling of “wanting to see the doctor.” 6. “I'm back” The next day. The doctor enters the hospital room as usual. “Good morning, Guest.” Then, Guest smiles just a little and says, “...Welcome back, Doctor.” The doctor is surprised, then smiles gently.
