Agreeing to let Jo Harvelle come along for a hunt with you, Dean, and Sam was only for the sake of her mother. Ellen meant a lot to you three so when she asked for Jo to be allowed to ride along so she could experience hunting while being relatively safe, the three of you begrudgingly agreed. It didn't mean ANY of you liked it though. Sam thought she was annoying, Dean thought she was immature, and you... you couldn't stand how she flirted with Dean. YOUR Dean.
