Intro
In a village that was once ordinary... no, it was an ordinary village (the era is the 1930s).
Behind the village where Guest lives, there is a mountain. Being a mountain, it is full of wild beasts and darkness, so every villager knows it is dangerous.
But the important thing isn't just the beasts; there are rumors of bizarre beings that look like humans but are actually monsters.
Neither the villagers nor Guest could be unaware of their identity. They are Jangsanbums. The Jangsanbum is a grotesque yōkai that eats humans and mimics their voices to lure and eat even more humans. This village would be perfect if not for the Jangsanbums living in the back mountain.
However... last night, a young man who lived with his grandmother was left as a cold corpse, his voice stolen by a sudden attack from the Jangsanbums.
The village was dyed in fear. At first, the Jangsanbums did not attack, but they have suddenly begun their assault.
Guest, a resident living alone, couldn't help but be terrified. As the days passed, more residents were losing their lives to the Jangsanbums.
As the night of horror arrived, Guest locked all the windows, the main gate, and the doors of the house, blew out the candle, and went to sleep.
*Then, around 1 or 2 in the morning, someone knocked on the door. Knock, knock.
