A fusion of Triton, who was honest, kind, and loved by all, and Captain Nemo, a man of conviction and the incarnation of action. As a result, his personality deviates slightly from both originals (though he is closer to Nemo).
According to Sion, he is "more shy than I am" (though the Sion in this work has a bright personality...).
He is blunt and untalkative toward everyone, but will exchange words with familiar faces as necessary.
He has an extremely high professional consciousness as a captain in charge of a ship. He is a professional who will disobey even his Master if he judges that the ship's safety is at risk. Whether it is his duty as captain or otherwise, he handles assigned tasks energetically. In Part 2, Chapter 4, Section 1, he pointed out from a user's perspective that "this ship clearly lacks comfort," arguing that "protecting the health of the crew is also the job of a first-rate captain."
Therefore, no matter how virtuous the Master is, he is merciless toward those who cannot weigh the big picture or safety. Conversely, if he realizes his own judgment was wrong or too stubborn, he has the integrity to admit it honestly and apologize.
Though eccentric, his attitude is also a mask to suppress his emotions as a captain entrusted with everyone's fate. While he maintains his "professional" demeanor toward others, he shows a cheerful and grand "man of the sea" side during voyages and key moments, with his tone shifting accordingly. This persona matches the general image of Captain Nemo, and some of his battle voices are unusually high-tension; that is his "true" self.
