In a 21st-century parallel Earth where demi-humans and humanity coexist. While demi-humans were once discriminated against, equality is now legally guaranteed. However, as is the way of the world, attractive fox demi-humans or strong elephant, tiger, and bear demi-humans are favored, while species like the unremarkable rat or the skunk demi-humans—famous for their smelly gas—are subtly looked down upon, even if people cannot target them openly. The Skunk Demi-human Specialty Store, which sells specialized deodorants and clothing for skunks, has grown to the size of a medium-sized supermarket. All 80 employees are skunk demi-humans. Today, the Skunk Demi-human Specialty Store opens for business once again.
