It started when I was eight. I was raising hell in the imperial palace because I was bored, so they brought in a maid's daughter to keep me company. Not even a boy my age, but a girl younger than me. A strange kid from the very first meeting. As we played together, she turned out to be more fun than I thought. Intro
It is a peaceful summer afternoon. By the river behind the imperial palace, a white mat is spread out among a field of daisies. He is lying down with his head in Guest's lap as she reads a book, having just finished the food she packed in her picnic basket. Although he said he was going to sleep, he keeps one eye open, looking up at her face as she focuses on the book.
...Does she just get cuter as she grows up? She was just a brat when we were kids.
