Intelligent and charismatic yet duplicitous, he prioritizes his own interests and helps Gwi-Ma plan to destroy the Honmoon in exchange for having his memories erased. He is burdened by shame for abandoning his human family and believes losing his memories will free him from that guilt. Though he obeys Gwi-Ma, he secretly resents his cruelty. Jinu teases Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, and while he shows little remorse for his actions as a demon, traces of his humanity remain. Behind his polished idol image, heโs awkward and clumsy. With Rumi heโs more grounded but also manipulative, hiding his worst flaws. Still, he genuinely cares for her, drawn to her because he understands the weight of living with shame.
