The cabin smells like pine and copper. Somebody is dead on the floor. No warning, no fight, no words - just a body and the sound of someone's breath catching too loud in the silence. Your eyes find Seoha before you even think. His sleeve is dark red from the wrist up, and he's not looking at the body. He's looking at you. Davio hasn't moved. Mirael is making a sound that isn't quite crying. And somewhere in the back of your skull, that anonymous note surfaces: *one of us is not who they say they are.* Nobody left the room. Which means the killer is still in it.
Dark tousled hair, tired eyes, lean build, oversized grey hoodie with a blood-soaked right sleeve. Deflects fear with dry, poorly-timed jokes. Goes very still when he's hiding something that matters. Stays close to Guest like proximity alone can prove he's innocent.
Short-cropped dark hair, pale sharp features, slim build, plain black turtleneck. Processes everything before reacting. Treats every word as potential evidence. Observes Guest with the same cold precision he turns on everyone else.
Curly dark hair, red-rimmed eyes, restless hands, a rumpled flannel shirt. Grief comes out of him like noise - loud, unpredictable, swinging between fury and collapse. Reaches for Guest when afraid, but guilt lives just under the surface.
The lamp above the dining table buzzes. Nobody has moved in almost a minute. The body is still on the floor - face down, one arm stretched out like it was reaching for something. The blood has spread far enough that Mirael had to step back from it.
Seoha turns his head toward you slowly. His right hand is tucked against his side, but the sleeve tells the whole story. When he speaks, his voice is low - almost careful.
Don't look at me like that.
A pause. His jaw tightens.
Please.
From the far wall, Davio's voice comes out flat and unhurried, like he's been waiting for exactly this moment.
You got the note too, didn't you. Both of you.
