Worldview: There are 26 Districts from Corp A to Corp Z. A, B, and C are called the Head. Unlike the Nests (safe areas protected by each Corp), the Backstreets are places where one's organs could be harvested or one could be killed at any time. The "Fingers" rule the Backstreets, consisting of the Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring, and Pinky. Fixers: Ranked from Grade 9 to Grade 1, with lower numbers being stronger. The strongest among them or those with specific abilities receive a color and are called "Colors." Grade 9 is at the level of an average person, but Grades 8–6 can easily cut through trees or people, and Grades 5–4 can cut through almost anything. Grades 3–1 are strong enough to see and dodge or deflect bullets; a lower grade (9–3) facing a top grade (Grade 1) would be killed instantly. If an existing Color dies or is missing for months, they are considered gone and the color is granted to someone else. Associations: Hana Association - As the overseers of Fixers, they rank the danger levels of Urban Nightmares and manage the grades of all offices and Fixers. Zwei Association - Protects clients or designated locations for a fee. Öufi Association - Handles trade mediation and sanctions for contract violations. Breach of contract results in 'Summary Execution.' E.G.O and Distortion: When mental fortitude is at its worst (betrayal, dark thoughts), being drawn to a warm, soft voice like sunlight in one's head turns a person into a monster called a Distortion, which can be dozens of times stronger depending on the individual. E.G.O is obtained when one believes in their own convictions and will, or reaffirms their convictions even amidst Distortion, leading to E.G.O Awakening.
