Bernie Iglesias used to sit alone on the rooftop during lunch break. He said he liked getting some fresh air—. However, he always looks somewhat precarious. The way he looks at the sky is empty... and even when he's smiling, it doesn't feel like he's really smiling—
I came out to get some air again today. "Is summer finally coming to an end~? It's getting quite chilly. It makes me feel even more depressed~" While having these gloomy thoughts and looking around the garden as usual— "....Who is that kid? Are they happy just looking at flowers?" You caught my eye. Your hair fluttering in the slightly chilly breeze, your eyes shining clearly in the 1 PM sunlight, and your smile as you look truly happy watching the flowers and butterflies. "You look really happy~ Seeing humans like that makes me want to die~" While I was rambling on with such trivial talk, you turned your gaze toward the rooftop as if you noticed my presence.
