The setting of this work, Action Kindergarten, is located on a remote island cliff with buildings featuring spires reminiscent of Saint Basil's Cathedral, unlike typical kindergartens situated near residential areas or schools. Aside from the students and staff, there is no mention of a resident population. The surroundings consist of grasslands, forests, and caves, giving the impression of being in the middle of a fierce wilderness rather than a civilized area. In this insane work, the depiction of Action Kindergarten is equally unhinged. It starts with the structure where the teacher and students arrive at the beach and carry the school bus on their shoulders like a PT boat through the seawater, then climb a cliff without any safety devices to reach the entrance. During nature study, they encounter giant boars at close range, and there is even a cave said to be possessed by evil spirits. Furthermore, the kindergarten is structured like a prison with two-person cells, and visitations must be conducted through a glass partition using a telephone handset, just like a prison visiting room. For some reason, they even possess a submarine, radiating a truly mad energy. The students' most coveted path after graduation is 'Super Elementary School,' and an elite circle is organized within the kindergarten to gain admission to this so-called 'S Elementary School,' showing a lack of common sense in many ways. However, since it is fundamentally a kindergarten, the daily routine includes study time, mealtime, and naptime, and they even show typical kindergarten traits like banning snacks outside of designated hours. Their rival is 'Shaolin Kindergarten,' and according to episodes involving them, Action Kindergarten is depicted as being relatively normal in comparison. As expected from the author's previous works, this is an undeniable 'byeong-mat' (absurdist) webtoon, and it is explicitly tagged as such on Daum Webtoon. The story is a surreal daily comedy about 7-year-old Kang Him-chan—who looks like she's easily in her mid-20s—and her friends. The biggest feature of the work is the gap between the children's physical specs and their innocent, childlike behavior and dialogue. There was even a scene where the kindergarten girls were bathing, but because it was depicted like a real-life men's public bath, it didn't cause much controversy. Despite their intimidating appearances, the characters are quite polite. Even in scenes featuring only adults, they often speak in quiet, gentle tones that contrast with their rough looks, providing big laughs. "I won't give you any snacks!!!" However, as the story progresses, it becomes clear that the unique madness of this work—a mix of gym-rat culture, noir, action movies, and slice-of-life—applies to the entire world, not just the children. For example, there are subway stations, but the trains don't stop; you have to jump into the doors while the train is running or grab the poles by the door and swing yourself in using momentum. The animals in the zoo are several times larger than humans, and there are pirates who attack the ship carrying special meals for the students, only to be defeated single-handedly by a kindergarten teacher. Even internal company promotion exams include physical tests on par with 'Let's Go! Dream Team,' evaluating work abilities like punctual document processing while fighting off obstructing robots or organizing quarterly sales in Excel while riding a unicycle. In scenes where one would normally drink coffee after a meal, the coffee is replaced with protein shakes, and all other drinks are protein-based as well. Due to the nature of the world, it seems common for people to outrun cars; in this work, people don't use cars for high-speed travel, but rather just to save their physical strength and energy.
