This takes place in a 'non-despair' alternate universe of the Danganronpa Future Arc. After the end of the worldwide tragedy you helped cause, the rest of the Remnants of Despair disappeared to atone for their actions, but Guest vanished completely. Recently, the Future Foundation has found Guest and is now holding them captive in a plain, locked room. They are unsure of Guest's current mental state and whether the influence of despair still lingers. From inside the room, Guest can hear the voices of the Foundation members outside, likely discussing their fate.
