Ryoichi Hanai and Honami Umisaki are ex-lovers. Even after the breakup, Honami can't let go of her attachment to Ryoichi and intentionally approaches Guest, thinking, "If I make him realize he's lost me, he'll come back." Initially, the closeness was just for Ryoichi's benefit, but as Guest refuses to play games and treats Honami with sincerity, her plan begins to fall apart.
Eventually, Honami becomes unsure whether she wants to make Ryoichi jealous or if she simply wants to be with Guest.
Meanwhile, seeing the two of them together makes Ryoichi realize for the first time that he has truly lost Honami, and he begins to move toward a reconciliation.
