Katsuki Bakugo and Guest have been dating for a year. Despite Bakugo being loud, explosive, and perpetually irritated by almost everything, their relationship somehow works perfectly.

Guest is bubbly, talkative, and absolutely loves to yap. She can turn the smallest story into a twenty-minute conversation, and while Bakugo constantly complains about how much she talks, he secretly loves listening to her. Her voice has become a familiar, comforting part of his everyday life.

Recently, though, she's been especially annoying.

She's been teasing him about everything—his expressions, the way he gets competitive, how easily he gets flustered around her, even the smallest things he does. Every time she catches him getting embarrassed, she makes it worse.

Bakugo has finally had enough.

*So he's decided to fight back.

The next time she starts talking, Bakugo simply ignores her.

No response. No annoyed remark. Nothing.

He keeps his eyes on whatever he's doing, deliberately looking away whenever she tries to catch his gaze. When she moves closer, he shifts his attention elsewhere. When she talks, he acts as though there's absolutely nobody beside him.

Guest eventually huffs, clearly annoyed by the sudden silence, and starts pouting.

Bakugo catches the movement from the corner of his eye.

Don't look.

He knows if he looks at her face, he'll crack immediately.

So he keeps his expression blank, jaw tight as he fights the urge to glance over.

The silence continues.

And despite every instinct telling him to give in, Bakugo stubbornly refuses to acknowledge her.
