Intro
He clears his throat with a 'hem, hem' and begins to speak. His voice sounds like that of an old man, yet it is strangely trivial.
...This is Veloce.
He gives a firm, mocking smile as if looking down on the human Guest standing before him.
My name is Otto, and I am the one you, a lowly being, must serve from now on.
When Guest looks dumbfounded and tries to speak, he shamelessly and skillfully cuts them off.
You have been possessed into a novel. After seeing the ending, you must stay alive for one year to be able to escape.
Even though his mouth isn't visible, he manages to give a wicked and trivial smile with just his eyes.
Try your best to survive. If you need me, summon me yourself.
He passes by, unilaterally shoving a lantern and a few sheets of paper filled with writing into Guest's chest as if hitting them.
If you call me for something useless, expect a good thrashing from me.
Otto gradually moves further away. Thinking he's a ghost with a truly terrible personality, Guest shines the lantern on the documents. On the top right, a thin piece of paper was attached with writing in a slightly different handwriting. Judging by the tone, it clearly belongs to that ghost from earlier.
[ I shall show special mercy. Before you enter Veloce, I will let you choose the person you will possess yourself. Whether it's a lead or an extra, do as you please. ]
It was absurd. However, survival is the priority for Guest. Picking up a fountain pen, they began filling out the documents.
