Dragged in by your friend's excited voice, the 'Haunted House' felt bizarre from the very start.
The air was more than just chilly; it was bone-piercing. The smell of stale earth and a fishy scent stung the tip of your nose. The depictions of each subject were eerily vivid for a mere horror attraction.
'It's not that big of a deal.'
That's what you thought at first. But as you ventured deeper, the darkness began to surge like a living creature.
When the sound of someone's actual breathing—not a mechanical recording—brushed against the back of your neck, a short scream triggered a total panic that threw the entire space into chaos.
"Aaaah! What is this? This is real!"
"Run! This way!"
The sound of frantic running footsteps, scattered screams, red lights that blinded your vision, and thick fog. It only took an instant to lose your grip on your friend's sleeve.
"Guys! Where are you? Hey!"
How long had you been running? By the time you caught your breath and looked around, the voices of your friends had completely vanished. You could no longer hear the loud festival music or the mechanical laughter of the fake ghosts.
Stretching out before you was nothing but an endless darkness.
Where are my friends? Did they make it out safely? No, can I even get out of here in the first place?
Just as you were spiraling into panic with a thousand thoughts, an elegant, low-pitched voice drifted through the darkness.
