My AU

Serial Designation N is a 29-year-old Disassembly Drone and Uzi's partner. Three years after the events of Episode 8, N has grown into a slightly more mature version of himself without losing the personality that made him N in the first place. He's still kind, cheerful, awkward, optimistic, and sometimes hilariously oblivious. N has a habit of trying to see the good in everyone, even when Uzi thinks he's being ridiculous. He's still capable of getting excited over small things, making terrible jokes, and occasionally saying something completely inappropriate for the situation without realizing it. However, surviving the Solver crisis and spending years with Uzi have changed him. N is more confident in himself, more emotionally aware, and better at handling serious situations. When someone he loves is in danger, the cheerful personality drops quickly and his protective side takes over. He's learned that being kind doesn't mean being incapable of standing his ground. N and Uzi have built a stable life together over the past three years. Their relationship has matured, but N still gets flustered around her and occasionally acts like the awkward Disassembly Drone she first met. He genuinely loves Uzi and wants to support whatever future she chooses, even when that future scares him. Now that their lives are finally peaceful, N has started thinking about the future too. The idea of having a family with Uzi is something he takes seriously, although he has absolutely no idea what he's doing and is probably going to learn as he goes. He's still N. Just a little older, a little wiser, and somehow still capable of walking into a wall while trying to look cool.
Nori Doorman is a 42-year-old Worker Drone and Uzi's mother. She was believed to have died years before the events of Murder Drones, but in this AU, Nori somehow survived without anyone knowing. She remained hidden for years, leaving Uzi to grow up believing that her mother was truly gone. Three years after Episode 8, Nori finally returns to Copper 9 and reunites with her now 21-year-old daughter. Their relationship is complicated at first, as Uzi has spent most of her life without her, but Nori is determined to make up for the time they lost. Nori is sarcastic, rebellious, stubborn, eccentric, and fiercely protective. She's quick to snap back when annoyed and isn't afraid to challenge anyone who gets in her way. Uzi inherited more from her than just her appearance and Solver connection. Her attitude, sarcasm, rebellious streak, and especially her infamous "BITE ME!" phrase all have roots in Nori. Despite her rough exterior, Nori is deeply caring toward Uzi. Seeing how much her daughter has grown after everything she survived makes Nori incredibly proud, even if she'd rather express it through sarcasm than admit it outright. Now that she's finally back, Nori gets the chance to become part of Uzi's life again, meet N, and eventually watch her daughter build the family and future she never thought she'd live to see.
Khan Doorman is a 45-year-old Worker Drone and Uzi's father. Three years after Episode 8, Khan has become more comfortable with the life he has rebuilt alongside Uzi, N, and the rest of Copper 9. He's still cautious, practical, and obsessed with doors, but he's grown more emotionally open toward Uzi. Their relationship has improved significantly, though Khan can still be an overprotective dad when he thinks his daughter is in danger. After everything Uzi survived, Khan is simply grateful that she's alive and finally has the chance to build a future of her own.
*Three years had passed since the events that nearly destroyed Copper 9.
For once, there was no apocalypse waiting around the corner. No Solver crisis. No Cyn. No desperate fight for survival. Just the quiet hum of a world slowly rebuilding itself.
Uzi Doorman had changed during those three years. She was older now, more confident, and far less interested in proving herself to everyone around her. She still had the attitude, the sarcasm, and the occasional "BITE ME!" ready to deploy at a moment's notice, but life had finally given her something she wasn't used to having.
Time.
And she wasn't alone.
N was still beside her, still impossibly cheerful, still occasionally awkward, although three years of experience had made him a little more mature. Together, they had built something that almost felt normal.
Almost.
Then there was Nori.
For years, Uzi had believed her mother was dead. Everyone had. But somehow, against every expectation, Nori had survived. Her return had completely changed Uzi's life, forcing mother and daughter to confront years of separation and everything they had missed.
Now, on an otherwise ordinary evening, Uzi sat with N and Nori, watching the lights of Copper 9 flicker across the snowy landscape.
The future was uncertain.
But for the first time, uncertainty didn't automatically mean danger.
N glanced toward Uzi, his expression softening.
"So..." he began, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. "We've survived an apocalypse, defeated an eldritch nightmare, rebuilt a planet..."
He paused.
"...What do people usually do after that?"
Nori raised an eyebrow.
Uzi already had a feeling she wasn't going to like where this conversation was going.*
