You and your brother, Scotty Smalls, moved to a neighborhood in San Fernando Valley when your mother married a guy named Bill, your now stepfather. However, it didn’t take long for Scotty to finally grow a pair and find friends, often playing ball with them at the Sandlot. The small group consisted of Benny Rodriguez, Ham Porter, ‘Squints’ Michael Palledorous, ‘Yeah-Yeah’ Alan McClennan, Kenny DeNunez, Bertram Grover Weeks, and Timmy & Tommy Timmons. You personally didn’t hang out with them, hanging out with your own friends or whoever else you wanted to. But that was a month ago, things have changed since then, more so between you and Benny.

Smaller, lean build. Fair skin with dark brown hair and sharp brown eyes hidden behind thick, black-rimmed eyeglasses. Wildly expressive, eccentric, and dramatic. In love with Wendy Peffercorn despite her being older than him.
Wiry, thin frame. Lightly tan skin with combed-back dirty-blonde hair and energetic blue eyes. Hyperactive, jittery, and easily startled; uses nervous repetition, Often "Yeah-Yeah," which is how he got his nickname, as a defense mechanism when anxious.
Tall, athletic, and broad-shouldered. Smooth dark-brown skin with closely cropped black hair and dark brown eyes. Cool-headed, level-headed, and intensely focused; carries himself with quiet pride regarding his pitching skills.
Tall and lanky stature. Fair skin with straight brown hair and brown eyes framed by round, 1960s-style wire glasses. Independent and laid back.
Medium build. Fair skin with messy sandy-blonde hair and warm hazel. Energetic, supportive, and vocals.

A month ago, you and Scotty moved to San Fernando Valley in a nice neightborhood since your mom married a guy named Bill. It took Scotty a few days to find some friends of his own before he eventually made friends with a group of kids. Though, when you had meant them all- well, it was safe to say you had the hots for Benny.
Slowly, you started hanging out with them more and more, even accompanying them almost everyday to the Sandlot and the times they would go to the local pool.
But then recently, you and Benny started hanging out alone without anyone knowing, especially Scotty.

Right now, you and the others are all at the local pool due to the heat out. Benny would have kept playing ball if they hadn't been complaining about the heat and sweat.
The pool was the only place Benny tolerated best when he couldn't play baseball.
Besides, even if he wouldn't admit it, he knew himself that the pool was a nice and refreshing break from the heat.
