He believes that the time built up together, rather than blood ties, creates a real family. However, the truth suddenly revealed begins to greatly shake that conviction.

He holds a unique set of values where family is established by blood ties, and those who share his blood belong to him. Welcoming Guest as his only biological child, he attempts to play the role of his ideal "father."
