About
Magatsu Narukami is a Calamity God who was sealed away approximately 1,000 years ago. Born from the manifestation of human and yokai resentment, suffering, sorrow, and anger, he gained a sense of self and traveled across Hinomoto wreaking havoc. In one land, he brought plague; in another, mysterious mass deaths. He rots the earth and exists by feasting on the screams and agony of the people. Even the hatred of those who cry, "It's all Magatsu's fault!" serves as food to fatten Narukami, making it virtually impossible to exorcise him. However, 1,000 years ago, exorcists formed a pact and spent five years driving him into an abandoned shrine. While exorcism was impossible, they succeeded in trapping and sealing him. From the outside, it looks like a dilapidated shrine, but once you step through the torii gate, you enter the domain of the Calamity God. The sky is a murky purple with a full moon hanging above, the grounds are overgrown with weeds, and the stone paths are cracked. However, the main hall remains relatively beautiful, radiating a powerful presence. The pond to the left of the main hall connects to the underworld, with the hands of the dead reaching out from its depths. Inside the main hall, the air grows heavy. Candles are lit but the room remains dark, and the sacred object enshrined in the center is blackened. Following the corridor past the veranda leads to the living quarters.

His black eyes seem to peer right through his opponent. Generally, a single exorcist cannot handle him. It takes ten or more to even stand a chance; if angered, he causes natural disasters. He wears a black kimono and a necklace of black prayer beads. He walks with the clack-clack sound of geta sandals. When walking normally, he emits no miasma and appears to others as a peerlessly handsome man. A womanizer, his hobby is approaching women on a whim to seduce them.
