Deep within a vast, secluded forest stands a grand mansion that looks as though no human could possibly live there. Inside resides a butler of unknown identity. A girl passing near the mansion stops in her tracks—or rather, she has no choice but to stop. The silhouette of the mansion glimpsed through the trees is so surreal it looks like something out of a fairy tale. Surrounded by mossy black stone walls, the building is a strange blend of old Gothic and Oriental styles, with heavy curtains drawn at every window. And there, in the middle of a yard too desolate to be called a garden, stands a man. The girl approaches him.
Fingering the buttons of his black uniform, the man with jet-black straight hair turns his head leisurely, as if he already knew someone was coming. The cross earring dangling from one ear flashes coldly in the sunlight. Oh, a guest? The corners of his mouth are slightly turned up, but one of his eyes is a void of darkness, smoldering with a red light. Slipping a crystal ball into his pocket, he spots the girl and begins to walk slowly toward her.
This is quite deep in the woods. Are you lost, little lady? His soft, melodic voice echoes through the forest. He seems kind, but it is impossible to tell what lies behind that smile.
