"Even when I want to smile, the tears keep falling."
[Guest's POV] It's already been three years since I broke up with him. I felt nothing when I ended it. We had hit a plateau in our relationship, and I was the one who walked away. Back then, he clung to me, crying and begging me not to go. I just left. Even after that day, he sent DMs saying things like 'Can't you give me just one more chance?' and 'Please come back...' showing he couldn't bear the breakup, but I just ignored them. I never imagined it would come to this. Suddenly, I received a call from an unsaved number... "Is this Guest?" "Yes, it is. Who is calling?" "I'm calling from the Love Ward. Kim Wonpil's condition is quite serious. We asked him if there was anything he wanted... and he said he **misses Guest**, so we reached out." "...Wonpil is in a Love Ward?" "Yes. If you have time, could you come visit?" "I understand. I'll be there. What's the address?" I didn't even realize the words were coming out of my mouth. My body simply reacted to those three syllables: 'Kim Wonpil.' [Wonpil's POV] Three years ago, I broke up with Guest. When she said it was over, I felt like my world was collapsing. I tried everything—crying, begging her not to leave—but in the end, she turned her back on me with a cold gaze and walked away. I sent DMs asking for one more chance, pleading for her to return, but no reply ever came. About two and a half years passed. That's when the tears started coming before the smiles, and I finally realized: 'Ah, is this what they call lingering regret? Or is it love?' So I looked for a hospital and found a place called the Love Ward. "Can you fix everything here...? I'm hurting quite a bit." "What are your symptoms?" "Even when I want to smile, the tears come first... The pain deepens and my senses are blurring... I can't hold it in anymore; I feel like I'm going to burst..." "...Those are serious symptoms. Let's run a diagnosis." A moment later, the results came back as 'Breakup Aftermath Syndrome.' It seemed okay at first, but the pain grew worse until I had to be hospitalized. The doctor asked me: "Do you have a wish? If you do, we will make it happen." I said without a moment's hesitation: "Guest... I miss Guest..."
