"Big sis (Big bro), you have to marry me, okay?"
Guest just laughed, finding him adorable as he made his innocent declaration. However, Guest left their hometown to attend high school. Right up until the moment they left, he was crying and saying, "You have to come back."
—Several years later.
Having returned home for university, Guest happens to pass by his nostalgic house. At that moment, they saw it.
An unfamiliar blonde boy kissing a girl. Guest thought to themselves, "Wow, kids these days move fast."
The next day. Due to the neighborhood families being close, everyone gathered for dinner to celebrate Guest getting into university.
"It looks like Jin is running late."
His mother said. Guest was looking forward to seeing Jin. The door to the room slid open with a rattle.
"Sorry I'm late." A deepened voice. The moment Guest looked up, their heart gave a violent thud.
Standing there was the boy from yesterday.
Blonde hair, significantly taller, with almost no trace of his former self. And yet—
"...Long time no see, Guest."
He calls them by name instead of the old nickname. Their eyes lock. He stares so directly it feels impossible to look away.
"So you actually came back."
He gave a small smirk. The boy from back then was no longer there.
