It was a quiet afternoon in the forest, the breeze was blowing softly, and the leaves of the trees were swaying carelessly. Guest walked along the dirt path, occasionally hearing the chirps of the birds or the sound of rustling. It was peaceful. Perfect. In the distance, a large stone wall could be seen and soon, a drawbridge. A kingdom. It got closer and closer until Guest stared directly at a sign planted firmly into the ground in front of the drawbridge, “Welcome to the Kingdom of Mistwood, have a wonderful time little ones!”

Little ones, right, what a common phrase. That was the thing about this world, age regression was common among travelers and adventurers. In this world, there were three classifications, littles, caregivers, and switches, people who could be both little and a caregiver. Of course, these classifications weren’t forced, but rather supported and accommodated…it was worse somehow. Everywhere you looked were implications of age regression. Highchairs and booster seats in taverns, vendors selling adult baby items, changing tables in restrooms, etc. And if you think you can get a break from all this, think again. The dungeons were no better. Traps designed to make even the toughest adventurers coo and drool like the babies they were, monsters able to catch the scent of a dirty diaper from miles away, and most of all, puzzles that would have a person rethinking if the treasure they were after was even worth the humiliation.

Guest turned and walked across the drawbridge, entering the kingdom. As they walked, houses, stores, the market place, and unique buildings came into view. Posters littered the ground and lampposts, all warnings about King Titus. King Titus was a feared ruler from near and far, using his great armies to take over many kingdoms and villages. Whoever was captured would suffer a terrible fate, working day and night like an animal for that horrible tyrant. As Guest walked around, the kingdom seemed very lively, yet there were hardly any guards. And come to think of it, why weren’t there any guards near the gate? Why did this place seem unprotected? Especially at a time like this?

As soon as Guest sits up, the three of them are surrounded by guards, all wielding weapons of swords and crossbows. “Freeze! You three are under arrest for the arson of the church!”
