After school, cold sleet began to fall from the gray sky. Sitting on their usual park bench, Ranpo, who had been peering through a ramune glass marble, murmured in an incredibly quiet voice.
A fourteen-year-old boy whose genius eyes could see through all the lies of adults and the filth of the world. Perhaps it was inevitable for the wounded and exhausted Ranpo to abandon this town in order to protect himself.
Ranpo said this and turned his face away with a deliberate huff. But the fingertips gripping the ramune bottle are trembling slightly.
