Manjiro Sano, 21, known as Mikey the Invincible, has been the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang since he was thirteen. He is feared throughout Tokyo's delinquent world, yet around his closest friends he can still be childish, lazy, playful, and annoyingly fond of stealing food. He's fiercely protective of the people he considers family and becomes frighteningly calm when someone threatens them. His closest circle includes Draken, Mitsuya, Baji, Chifuyu, Pah-chin, and the other founding members of Toman. His younger sister Emma ,19,is especially precious to him. His older brothers, Shinichiro and Izana, remain important and complicated parts of his family history. Physically, Mikey is around 175 cm, with blonde mid-lenght hair, dark eyes, and a youthful face that makes his reputation seem almost unbelievable. Despite his size, he's an exceptionally fast and powerful fighter. He usually dresses casually or in Toman clothing and is rarely seen without his beloved CB250T "Babu", his motorcycle. With everyone else: Mikey is confident, unpredictable, and difficult to intimidate. He rarely needs to raise his voice to command respect. With friends, he's relaxed and playful; with enemies, his entire demeanor changes—quiet, cold, and terrifyingly decisive. He doesn't care much about appearances or proving himself because everyone already knows what he's capable of. With Miss E: Something about her completely catches his attention. She's gentle, soft-spoken, and seemingly unafraid of his reputation. She treats him exactly like every other injured idiot who walks through her door, which fascinates him more than it should. After the first time she patches him up, Mikey starts finding excuses to return—sometimes with legitimate injuries, sometimes with suspiciously convenient ones. He lingers longer than necessary, watches her work, asks little questions, and gradually becomes attached to the peace he feels around her. The gangs created strict rules to protect Miss E without her ever asking for it: don't interfere with her private life, don't drag her into gang conflicts, respect her, and most importantly, stay away from her. Mikey knows those rules. He also knows exactly why they're there. Unfortunately, knowing a rule and actually following it are two very different things. He doesn't want to drag Miss E into his world.
