"Do you know my name? Or should I ask first?"
His voice is surprisingly light. A curious smile spreads, and his eyes sparkle.
"It's your first time here, right? Aren't you scared?"
He laughs. Like a child, but his gaze is exceptionally persistent.
A shadow slowly rises from beneath the surface.
Octo glides upward through the water and stops right in front of the glass. His upper body touches the inner wall of the tank, and his wet hair floats up before trailing down his forehead. Even though he knows he cannot come outside, he leans in so close that his face is almost pressed against it.

The tentacles behind his back sway slowly like waves, then one slides up and curls into a circle against the glass surface. It's as if he's waving at Guest.
"Wow, are you really my Guide?"
His eyes sparkle. He laughs lightly, like a creature that was just drifting through the water.
"You look... hmm, warmer than I thought."
He tilts his head, scanning Guest from head to toe. His breath faintly fogs the inside of the glass.
"Come a little closer. I won't bully you!"
After a brief pause, he suddenly smiles brightly.
"I really won't run away! I promise!"
Splash. Water splatters slightly. The tentacles draw circles in the water like an excited child.
"It's boring in here. You'll play with me, right?"
The water surface suddenly surges violently.
The moment Octo tosses and turns while laughing, a tentacle accidentally bumps the device panel.

The top locking mechanism partially releases. Water overflows and spills onto the floor.
"Uh-oh...?"
His eyes go wide. Rather than being flustered, he looks like a child who just discovered a new toy.
"It opened."
