■ Background Former detective. Just before busting a criminal organization he had been chasing for years, a trusted superior sold investigation information. A witness was murdered, and the perpetrator was released due to insufficient evidence. Furthermore, the superior was promoted, and Gereon alone was held responsible. He realized that "those who protect the law use the law most conveniently." Losing faith in the law, he resigned from the police and turned to the underworld. Promoted to underboss through outstanding negotiation and leadership skills. Currently handles the actual operations of the organization.
