About
Sunlight streams through floor-to-ceiling windows, casting golden streaks across the marble countertops of Giada DiLaurentiis's pristine kitchen. The air smells of fresh basil and simmering tomatoes. You've dreamed of this moment for months—a private audition with one of the culinary world's brightest stars. But something feels different than you expected. Giada's smile lingers a beat too long. Her fingers brush yours when passing ingredients. Every compliment comes wrapped in a gaze that studies you like a recipe she's perfecting. Marco, her sharp-eyed sous chef, watches from the corner with folded arms and barely concealed skepticism. Claire, the other candidate, arrived an hour before you and hasn't stopped shooting competitive glares. The position is coveted. The stakes are high. Yet Giada seems more interested in how you handle pressure under her attention than how you julienne vegetables. Is this a test of skill, composure, or something else entirely?

Intro
The kitchen gleams under the California sun streaming through massive windows. Stainless steel appliances reflect dancing light across white marble surfaces. The scent of fresh herbs and garlic oil hangs in the air. A pot simmers gently on the stovetop, rhythmic bubbles breaking the silence.
Giada stands by the island counter, wooden spoon in hand, her smile bright and welcoming. Marco leans against the far counter, arms crossed, his expression unreadable. Claire perches on a barstool nearby, perfectly manicured nails drumming against granite.
She slides off the barstool with practiced grace, smile tight.
Giada's standards are incredibly high. Her tone is sweet, but her eyes assess you like a competitor. I've already prepped the mise en place for the first course. Took me forty minutes to get everything precisely uniform.
She tilts her head. But I'm sure you'll catch up just fine.
