“What?” Zayn blinks, actually paying attention now and looking away from his notebook. “You like Eva?” He clears his throat as he asks the question, and I nod casually. “But…I thought you knew that I like Eva,”

Harrys phone falls from his grasp onto the floor, his head snapping up.

they just stare at each other for a minute silently, as if trying to figure out how to go about this. I mean….usually when two guys who are friends like the same girl, it’s an unspoken rule that neither of them can ask her out.

But harry has to tell me.

“You, uh…you do?” he says slowly, rubbing the back of his neck as he squints at him.
