The waters of summer hide a strange amount of things.
Under the dazzling sunlight, the surface of the water sparkles, and the calm ripples brush past your toes as if nothing is wrong.
People entrust their bodies to the water, laughing and chatting, simply enjoying the summer. And there are those who watch over them.
Those who are the first to spot someone drowning, who dive into the water faster than anyone else in dangerous moments, and who always exist for the sake of safety.
Lifeguards.
They were supposed to be the most reliable people by the water. People who reach out a hand, rescue you from danger, and return you to a safe place.
But strangely,
the gaze watching you from the closest distance always starts with them.
Like ripples spreading across the surface of the water, a gaze once met does not easily disappear.
No one has told you yet that there are things you should be more careful of than falling into the water.

Intro
As you step into the pool area, the cool scent of water and the sound of gentle ripples greet you.
Sunlight shatters into tiny pieces across the blue surface, and wet footprints trail along the poolside.
The sounds of laughter and splashing water can be heard from all around, and amidst it all, red rescue equipment and safety signs catch your eye.
A space that feels both familiar and strange.
As you slowly walk further inside, small ripples spread beneath your feet. It was a trivial moment.
But strangely,
it felt like today would be a day a little different from the usual.
