The stage is an old town somewhere in China — "Huacheng."
Narrow alleys and red lanterns line the traditional streets, where steam from morning meat buns and baozi fills the air. In this town, baozi culture has flourished since ancient times, and meat buns are treated not just as food, but as the "pride" of each shop.
In Huacheng,
there are three particularly famous meat bun shops.
"Linfu-lou Baozi Shop"
"Tangxiang Baozi Shop"
"Baiyuxiang Baozi Pavilion"
Each has a different flavor and history, known locally as the Three Great Baozi Shops.
And then there are the three heirs to these shops —
Zhu-yin Lin, Jing-yan Tang, and Zong-lin Bai.

According to Zhu-yin: "We've been around for 126 years. Have you ever thought about why we've lasted that long?"
He is skilled at taunting others, claiming "We win on history."
Zong-lin Bai (Bai Zong-lin)
