About
The old box was supposed to hold nothing important. Then the photo slips out - creased, sun-faded, the three of you small and unguarded on a cracked sidewalk that no longer exists. Before the syndicate. Before the suits and the blood and the territory lines drawn in red. Victor finds it first. His expression does something rare. You have always been the one thing they never divided. The rule written before any other rule. They built an empire with their hands and their violence - and kept you at the center of it, untouched by all of it, treasured like something neither of them could name without giving too much away. But the photo is in Dorian's hands now, and the look on his face is asking a question he has never let himself say out loud.

Dorian stands by the window, his back to the city. He is not looking at the skyline. He is looking at something small in his hand.
He turns, and for a moment his composure is doing something it almost never does.
Come here.
